Esate planning documents prepared by Hugh Beck Law are protected by digital signatures secured using certificates issued by a Certificate Authority on the Adobe Approved Trust List. Any alteration after notarization invalidates the document's digital signature.
The digital signature includes long-term validation (LTV) information, including a trusted timestamp, confirming that the signing certificate was valid at the time of notarization.

If the document was electronically notarized in-person, a Document Authentication Number (DAN) issued by the Colorado Secretary of State uniquely identifying the notarial act accompanies the notarial signature. If the document was notarized remotely, the signing ceremony was recorded.
Hugh Beck Law maintains a secure record of documents electronically notarized by its representatives. For additional verification of a document, complete the form below and provide the DAN shown in the notarial seal of the document; if the document does not have a DAN, enter the first signer's last name.
